Matthew Miller

Matthew Miller is a Partner at Sequoia Capital based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he focuses on early-stage investments in enterprise software, data infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2012, he has led multiple Series A and Series B funding rounds, securing active board seats at prominent technology startups including Confluent, Docker, and Tessian. Prior to his decade-long tenure at Sequoia, Miller worked as an analyst in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs, advising global technology companies on mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University, where he graduated in 2012. Miller currently concentrates on partnering with technical founders to scale next-generation cloud infrastructure and enterprise security platforms from the seed stage through market leadership.
