Matthew Hackett is a General Partner at 8VC in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on early-stage investments in enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and fintech. Since joining the firm in March 2023, he has backed over fifty companies for the venture capital franchise, which manages more than $10 billion in assets. He recently led a $50 million Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Replicate in June 2024.
