Matt Knight

Matt Knight is the Founder of PropTech Angel Group, the largest angel network exclusively targeting real estate technology, and a Partner at Sway Ventures, splitting his time between Atlanta and San Francisco. Prior to his current roles, he served as a General Partner at Shadow Ventures, where he managed capital raising, deal sourcing, and underwriting for early-stage construction and real estate technology investments. Before transitioning to venture capital, Knight spent over a decade working in the institutional real estate sector, executing more than $1 billion in commercial transactions. The Davidson College graduate also serves on the boards of Shadow Labs and the Multifamily Innovation Conference, while advising institutional owners on piloting strategies and supporting nonprofits like InnovateRE.org. He currently focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage investments across the commercial, multifamily, and building technology markets.
