Matt Devost

Matt Devost is the Founder of both OODA and DevSec, currently serving as a technologist, entrepreneur, investor, and board director within the global security sector. Over a 25-year career focused on cybersecurity and risk management, he previously founded and held key leadership roles at FusionX and the Terrorism Research Center. Devost earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Vermont, building an academic foundation for his extensive work in international security, counterterrorism operations, critical infrastructure protection, and intelligence analysis. Throughout his professional career, he has delivered expert presentations at several hundred international conferences and private industry events, alongside appearances across dozens of global media platforms. His current focus centers on applying a specialized hacker mindset to identify, manage, and respond to complex global risks while exploring emerging opportunities in the modern cybersecurity landscape.
