Mark Vadon is a retired entrepreneur based in Seattle, Washington, who previously built and led multiple large-scale e-commerce platforms. He founded the online jewelry retailer Blue Nile in 1999, serving as its Chief Executive Officer until 2008 and guiding the company through its initial public offering in 2004. Following his tenure at Blue Nile, Vadon co-founded the flash sales e-commerce platform Zulily in 2009, where he operated as Chairman of the board until 2015 when the business was acquired by QVC Group for $2.4 billion.
