Mark Suster

Mark Suster is a General Partner at Upfront Ventures based in Los Angeles, California. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Koral, an enterprise software company acquired by Salesforce, where he subsequently worked as a sales executive. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and currently helps manage over $400 million in assets across a portfolio of more than 200 companies. His investment track record includes notable exits such as Ring, which was acquired by Amazon, and he recently helped raise a $200 million fund in 2024 targeting artificial intelligence and climate technology. Drawing on his dual experience as an operator and investor, Suster focuses on funding early-stage technology startups across the software as a service, consumer internet, enterprise software, and digital media sectors.
