Mark Pollak

Mark Pollak is a Principal at Point72 Ventures, a global multi-stage venture capital firm, and is currently based in San Francisco, California. The investment firm, which is backed by prominent asset management founder Steven A. Cohen, deploys capital across a wide range of funding rounds from initial seed investments to pre-IPO growth stages. Prior to his current position, Pollak developed his expertise in private market investing and corporate finance through various roles at Point72 Hyperscale, Riverwood Capital, and Ridgemont Equity Partners. He initially began his professional financial career working at the investment bank William Blair and Company, following the completion of his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In his current capacity, Pollak focuses on sourcing and evaluating transformative technology startups operating specifically within the financial technology, deep tech, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and defense technology sectors.
