Mac Harman is the Managing Partner at True Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. Before assuming his current role, he served as a General Partner at First Round Capital from 2012 to 2018 and co-founded Kiko, a technology startup acquired by Facebook in 2007. At True Ventures, which manages over $3 billion in assets and recently closed an $800 million fund in early 2025, he oversees seed and Series A investments. His portfolio includes notable companies such as Slack, Peloton, and Duo Security, alongside recent investments like the artificial intelligence coding platform Cursor. Harman holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in earth sciences and economics from Williams College.
