Luke Evnin is an Advisor at MPM BioImpact and the Co-Founder of Vie Ventures, based in San Francisco, California. He began his venture capital career at Accel Partners, serving as a General Partner from 1990 to 1997 before opening MPM's San Francisco office in 1999. Over nearly three decades, Evnin has co-founded and invested in more than 100 life sciences companies, holding over 30 board positions and facilitating major acquisitions such as Co-Stim to Novartis and Maverick Therapeutics to Takeda. His executive experience includes serving as the interim CEO of Werewolf Therapeutics from 2017 to 2019, alongside board roles at public entities like Harpoon Therapeutics and Oncorus. Holding a PhD in Biochemistry from UC San Francisco, his current focus remains on early-stage biotech company formation, immuno-oncology investments, and advancing therapeutic research through the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
