Lukas Haffer

Lukas Haffer is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cascading AI, an artificial intelligence company developing loan origination systems for banks and financial technology firms. Before launching the startup, he served as Chief of Staff for the European Market at Avaloq, a core banking software provider that managed $4 trillion in assets and achieved a $2.2 billion exit. He earned a Master of Business Administration with honors from Stanford University, graduating in the top ten percent of his class as an Arjay-Miller Scholar. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator-backed company secured approximately $4 million in initial funding before raising a $29 million Series A round led by Canapi Ventures in August 2025. Haffer currently focuses on scaling AI-native lending technology designed to reduce manual processing effort by ninety percent for commercial and small business loans.
