Luca Pinchetti

Luca Pinchetti is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Circlemind, an artificial intelligence research and engineering startup based in Oxford, United Kingdom. Backed by Y Combinator as part of its F24 cohort, he established the open-source platform alongside co-founders Antonio Vespoli and Yuhang Song to develop advanced retrieval-augmented generation systems. Leveraging knowledge graphs and PageRank algorithms, his engineering team has built technology that achieves up to three times greater information retrieval accuracy compared to traditional vector databases. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, Pinchetti accumulated nine years of professional industry experience and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Oxford. He remains a PhD candidate at the University of Oxford, where his current academic research focuses on biologically-inspired methods for constructing deep learning models and neural network architectures.
