Jake Stein

Jake Stein is the Philadelphia-based Co-founder and CEO of Common Paper, a B2B software company providing standardized agreements and contract management tools. Before launching his current venture in 2021, he built two data startups that achieved successful acquisitions by major enterprise technology firms. He previously co-founded RJMetrics, which was acquired by Magento and subsequently Adobe in 2016, and later established Stitch, which was purchased by Talend in 2018. Under his leadership, Common Paper secured backing from Y Combinator and grew to serve 140 paying customers, facilitating tens of millions of dollars in closed transactions. An alumnus of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, his early career included experience working in venture capital. Stein currently focuses on streamlining enterprise sales cycles through legal technology, utilizing artificial intelligence to accelerate complex B2B contract negotiations.
