Jack Brown

Jack Brown is the San Francisco-based co-founder of Lark, an early-stage software company developing an end-to-end testing layer for artificial intelligence-driven development. Founded in 2025 alongside co-founder Vijit Dhingra, the two-person startup is currently participating in Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch to build automated agents that resolve complex billing issues. Prior to launching Lark, Brown spent five years working as a technical lead at Stripe, where he engineered usage-based billing products and scaled core payments infrastructure for the platform. During his tenure there, he also contributed to internal testing frameworks designed to enhance developer productivity and built sophisticated billing systems capable of supporting the world's largest artificial intelligence enterprises. His current professional focus centers on leveraging his extensive engineering background to automate complex subscription business operations and improve software reliability through advanced artificial intelligence solutions.
