Chris Minge

Chris Minge is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Vulcan Technologies, based in Austin, Texas. Before launching the company in 2025, he worked as a software engineer at Google, developing machine learning infrastructure for projects including Gemini, Waymo, and Vertex AI. He graduated from Princeton University in 2022 with a dual degree in computer science and philosophy, combining technical engineering expertise with ethics. At Vulcan Technologies, which participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2025 batch alongside co-founder Tanner Jones, Minge builds AI platforms designed for government and legal systems. Within two months of the platform's launch, the startup secured an executive order from the Governor of Virginia mandating its adoption across state agencies. His current focus centers on deploying scalable machine learning infrastructure to modernize public sector regulatory processes and government operations.
