Andy Hoang

Andy Hoang is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aviron Interactive, a connected fitness equipment company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A third-generation entrepreneur, he established the consumer hardware startup in 2018 by leveraging his family's extensive background in Asian manufacturing and supply chain logistics. Under his executive leadership, the company developed rowing machines integrated with video game mechanics and successfully raised over $22 million in total venture capital funding. Hoang secured an $18.5 million Series A financing round in February 2022 led by Stripes, with additional backing from Global Founders Capital, Form Capital, and 24 Hour Fitness founder Mark Mastrov. Following the launch of the Aviron Strong Series Rower in early 2023, his current focus remains on scaling consumer hardware and utilizing gamification to increase user engagement across the broader health technology sector.
