Andrew Bartynski is the CEO of Kopra Bio, a UCSF spinoff developing genetically engineered cancer-killing viruses, and is currently based in California, USA. As a two-time Y Combinator alumni founder, he previously served as the CEO of medical device startup AesculaTech and the COO of male contraceptive developer YourChoice Therapeutics. He also operated as the COO of ANA Therapeutics, where he scaled the COVID-19 antiviral company to Phase II/III clinical trials within six months before its acquisition by publicly traded NeuroBo Pharmaceuticals in under one year. Additionally, Bartynski holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California and recently secured a $100,000 proof-of-concept award from QB3 to advance his current oncology research.
