Alon Cohen

Alon Cohen is the Co-founder and President of Houzz, a home remodeling and design platform based in Palo Alto, California. He launched the company in 2009 alongside his wife and co-founder, Adi Tatarko, successfully scaling the digital marketplace to serve over 25 million monthly unique users. Under his technical leadership, the platform has aggregated more than four million professional photos and secured over $600 million in venture funding from investors including Sequoia Capital. Prior to establishing Houzz, Cohen served as a Senior Director of Engineering at eBay and founded the early-stage technology startup Proxi. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. His current focus centers on expanding consumer internet marketplaces, advancing e-commerce infrastructure, and developing dedicated software-as-a-service solutions for professionals within the global home improvement sector.
