Established as an institutional initiative, Randy Boyd, President of the UT System, is a key founding member. The core insight was to harness the University of Tennessee's network and resources, fostering entrepreneurship tied directly to the institution. This bridges academic innovation and commercialization, investing in university talent to enhance its broader impact. Maha Krishnamurthy and Robyn Geron lead its execution.
