The One Mind Accelerator

The One Mind Accelerator operates as a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit initiative, actively supporting early-stage startups dedicated to advancing mental health solutions. Through a structured ten-week program, it delivers essential networking opportunities, educational resources, and seed capital, guiding founders in developing impactful care models, diagnostics, and treatments. The program specifically targets innovations across areas such as serious mental illness, youth mental health, maternal mental health, and precision psychiatry, cultivating a specialized ecosystem for emerging companies.

The parent organization, One Mind, was established in 1995 by Shari and Garen Staglin. Their foundational insight stemmed from a deeply personal experience, as their son's schizophrenia diagnosis propelled them to address critical gaps in neuropsychiatric brain research and support. The Accelerator program, launched in 2023, represents an expansion of this commitment, translating the organization's long-standing dedication into direct support for entrepreneurial ventures.

The Accelerator’s clientele comprises founders of nascent mental health startups striving to bring their innovations to market.
