Boakye-Yiadom's background, including experience as a procurement and strategic sourcing analyst at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, informed his understanding of operational efficiencies and strategic resource allocation. The insight driving STEMeIn's creation stemmed from the observable difficulties and frustrations that nascent businesses in Africa face when establishing and scaling their operations, particularly in securing vital funding.
