Karmagawa

Karmagawa is a non-profit foundation dedicated to raising awareness and funds through social media for global humanitarian and environmental causes, including fighting racism, building schools, and saving endangered species. The organization transparently donates to vetted charities worldwide, leveraging its over 1.5 million Instagram followers to support initiatives like education, animal welfare, and plastic recycling. To date, Karmagawa has donated over $7 million to more than 80 charities, built over 100 schools, rescued 3,752 animals, and provided more than 227,272 meals. Notable contributions include $1 million for Yemen relief in 2020 and $400,000 for schools in Syria, Iraq, and Myanmar in 2021. The foundation, which evolved from the Timothy Sykes Foundation, was co-founded by Timothy Sykes and Mat Abad prior to 2019.
