Furthr is a Dublin, Ireland-based business innovation center that supports early-stage and scaling startups through acceleration programs, mentorship, and funding facilitation. The organization collaborates with approximately 300 startups annually, helping founders develop business plans and secure venture-backed investment. Since its inception, the center has supported over 7,000 startups, with more than 1,000 scaling globally and its facilitated companies raising over €500 million in total funding. The entity operates alongside Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Enterprise, Trade, and Employment, while managing funding channels through its venture capital arm, Furthr VC, and the Halo Business Angel Network. In 2024, companies supported by the organization employed over 350 people, and historically, more than 80 percent of its assisted businesses have successfully secured third-party finance. The organization was originally founded under the name Dublin BIC in 1988.
