Founded June 2019, epiST Ventures was co-founded by Takashi Uemura, CEO, and Sho Sakisuka, COO. Uemura, previously founder of ALBERT Inc., recognized a gap between Japan's strong academic research and commercial application. This insight, combined with Sakisuka’s venture capital background, fueled their partnership to empower scientific commercialization.
