ATOMica

ATOMica is a workspace management company based in Tokyo and Miyazaki, Japan, that designs, develops, and operates co-working spaces and community hubs aimed at regional revitalization. The organization generates revenue through facility operation fees, workspace consulting services, and subscriptions to its proprietary community management software platform known as Knot. Its primary customer base consists of local municipalities, academic universities, regional enterprises, and corporate co-working space users seeking collaborative environments. By early 2024, the enterprise had expanded its operational network to manage or partner with over 30 distinct facilities across the country. To accelerate the deployment of its software and expand its regional hubs, the company secured approximately 480 million JPY in Series A venture funding during 2023. ATOMica was officially established in April 2019 by co-founders and co-chief executive officers Yoshiaki Shima and Shohei Minami.
